Verkefnið "Að kynnast Evrópu af póstkortum" "Let's discover Eruope through postcards" hófst í haust og voru það sjöundu bekkingar í Flataskóla sem tóku þátt í því. Þetta er verkefni sem hefur verið unnið áður í eTwinning og gengur út á að þátttakendur í hverju landi senda hinum póstkort með mynd og upplýsingum á ensku af einhverju frá landinu þeirra. Nemendur útbúa stórt kort af Evrópu upp á vegg og setja póstkortin við landið sem það er frá um leið og þau berast.
Námsgreinar: Landafræði, myndlist, upplýsingatækni, tungumál.
Tungumál: Öll Evróputungumálin
Aldur nemenda: 3 til 16 ára
Verkfæri: Ýmis konar hugbúnaður, Google, PowerPoint, myndbönd, myndir og teikningar, Twinspace, tölvupóstur
Markmið: Að nemendur læri um menningu og landafræði Evrópu. Heyri og lesi ýmis tungumál álfunnar og komist í kynni við jafnaldra sína í Evrópu.
Vinnuaðferðir: Nemendur skrifi einfaldar setningar á póstkortin eða myndirnar sem þeir senda í skólana í Evrópu og að a.m.k. eitt póstkort frá hverju landi komist til sérhvers lands. Kortin skulu vera sýnileg nemendum upp á vegg.
Árangur: Að skilingur nemenda á málefnum og aðstæðum í löndum Evrópu aukist, þeir læri að sérhvert land hefur sína sérstöðu og að samvinna og vinskapur eru mikilvægir þættir í samskiptum þeirra.

Partner schools send each other postcards of their town or country with some simple sentences (greetings, short description of the place) in their own language with the English translation (or more if pupils speak more languages....) They send a drawn of their country too. Students create a map of Europe on a very big poster, and stick the postcards they receive on the big puzzle of Europe. Teachers could help students decode all the gathered information and perceive differences and similarities among places, landscapes, ways of life, languages. Classes can send a pictures of various moments of the project (when they write postcards, when they draw the map, when they received postcard and at the en of the project, with all the postcards....) This project has been already made in 2009....it was really nice project.I copy the aim of the project...I would like to thanks to the first founder of the project
